Description

White garment with a rectangular shape, round neck and no sleeves. The neck is edged with orange and pink ribbons which hang down the back. The front and back are divided into three vertical panels by green ribbon. The lower centre and outside panels have rows of geometric shapes in red, orange, yellow and blue. The upper centre panel has a dense geometric motif in red, pink, orange and yellow. The bottom edge is unhemmed. The inside is unlined.

History Of Use

Woman's garment; woven on a backstrap loom. Ribbons are worn at the back. Sometimes wool or acrylic is used for the supplementary wefts.
