Description

Light brown wood bird figure. The black and red painted wings are resting at the sides of the body. There is a rounded chest, a cylindrical neck, a round head with nails for eyes, and a downward angled beak. Long legs are bent back, standing on a flat oval base.

Narrative

These pieces were in the collection of the Arch Bishop of Nairobi, circa 1945.
