Gloves, or gauntlets, with rose design embroidered in orange, brown, red, green, gold and pink on outside. Red and green stripes on top of hand. Yellow-green satin damask lining. Machine sewn.
Narrative
Raley said he collected these gauntlets in Bella Coola, but their style suggests they may have originated somewhere farther inland, such as the the Cariboo Region?
