Description

Mask depicting a human with a white face and facial markings in black and red. Three holes in each cheek. Nose consists of three separate pieces of wood. Cedar bark fringe attached on the mask's left side and a moss fringe is attached to the mask's right side, held on with black string attached to nails. Two vertical slats of wood are attahced to the sides of the mask.

History Of Use

One-Side-[?]-in-Woods mask; part of the atłaamł dance series. Humorous, moss on face (M. Martin, 1951).
