Description

Mask depicting a human face with a very large hooked, protruding nose. Prominent, curved black eyebrows, small black circular eyes, red nostrils and lips, and a black moustache. Green and white cording at the back is attached to several holes along the edge.

History Of Use

Sneezer mask, according to Gertie Walkus (granddaughter of Willie Seaweed). Used in animal kingdom dances.

Narrative

Made for Tom Patch Wamiss (J. Seaweed, 1966).
