Description

Long, wooden, carved spear with a two piece cylindrical shaped base and a large triangular shaped, arrow head. The spear is painted in black and red with Northwest Coast stylized designs.

History Of Use

Possibly used to "spear" a copper, related to spearing or killing animals (M. Martin, 1951).
