Description

Whisk made of long strands of grass ? that has been gathered together at one end and ornamented with a thick band of beadwork. The beadwork has a design of bands in white, red and green that are interrupted with vertical lines of white, and there is a handle formed by a single strand of alternating red and white beadwork.

History Of Use

Normally a fly whisk, however the beadwork suggests possible ceremonial use rather than daily use.
