String Puppet Item Number: 2886/2 from the MOA: University of British Columbia

Description

String puppet with a red hat that has a high pink point. The facial features and fingers are painted on, as are black shoes and some wrinkles on the neck. The puppet wears a long red tunic that opens at the front and matching red pants. The cuffs of tunic and pants are edged in gold, as is the opening of the shirt. The puppet is controlled by strings attached to the upper back, sides of the head, thighs and hands. The arms are moveable at shoulders and elbow, and the legs at the hip and knee. A short stick is attached to the string of the left hand.
