String Puppet Item Number: 2886/5 from the MOA: University of British Columbia

Description

String puppet with a tall pink hat that has a yellow brim and gold embellishments. The skin is painted white, and facial features, finger, toes, and some wrinkles on the neck are painted on. The puppet wears a long red tunic with edges trimmed in gold, overtop of a pink sarong, also decorated with gold. The puppet is controlled by strings attached to the upper back, sides of the head and hands. The arms are moveable at shoulders and elbow, and the legs at the hip and knee. The head has become detached from the body and is only connected to the puppet by the strings.
