Description

Carved wooden male figure seated on a red bench which also forms the base for the object. Entire figure is painted gold and red, including the hands and face. The figure has painted facial features including round black eyes, eyebrows, and a moustache. He has both hands resting on his knees. He wears a headdress which extends down the length of his back, and there is a hole on the top of his head. There are Chinese characters and a number on the back of the base.
