Description
Tall brown birch bark basket. Rectangular base with rounded sides and oval-shaped rim. Bark is bent, cut and laced at two sides with thin strips of cedar root(?) in zigzag pattern. Rim has cedar root(?) wrapping and scratched zigzag pattern beneath.
Narrative
Place of origin uncertain, but possibly from the Gitxsan-Wet'suwet'en area?
