Blanket Item Number: 2898/3 from the MOA: University of British Columbia

Description

Large blanket woven in a “storm pattern” design. Both the warp and weft are wool. The design is symmetrical top to bottom and side to side. A large ‘x’ shape fills the centre, with geometrical shapes at top, bottom and sides in white, black and brown. Red, black and white squares sit at each corner. An undulating pattern of small red and grey squares edges the blanket on all sides, with a band of grey and brown at the outside.
