Description

Painting shows an angel in human form, wings slightly spread behind her. She wears a calf-length dress with red and gold embellishments and a green belt, a red, green and gold cloak attached at the throat with a broach, and green and gold shoes. Her face is rosy with a slight smile, and she has long, curled brown hair. In her right hand the angel holds a brown fish attached by the mouth to a red ribbon. In her left hand is a staff. The background of the painting is a landscape, with a shaded a brown and yellow sky, and trees, buildings and water in the lower half. The back of the canvas is painted a thin brown.
