Description

Clay ocarina in the shape of a bird. The body is bulbous with two thick wings protruding to either side. A round head has indented round eyes and a small triangular beak, with two holes bored into the neck. The thick tail serves as a mouthpiece with a windway opening on a windcutter bored into the body on the underside. Two pitch holes are bored into the chest and one round foot is located on the bottom of the body. The other foot has been broken off. The bird is decorated with brown and orange pigment on the back, chest and head.
