Description

Stone mace. Object is round and squat, with a flat top and bottom. The carved face of an animal, perhaps a bird, protrudes from the side, with a long curved snout and two long ridges atop the head. The face, head and neck area have been painted orange and yellow. A large hole is carved through the centre of the mace, slightly narrower at its centre point and flaring toward each end.
