Description

Gourd shaped clay rattle. The body is bulbous, with a line of holes starting at the shoulder, running across the bottom and up to the shoulder on the other side. Two holes pierce the clay on each side of this semi-circle. Incised lines pattern the body around the holes. The neck is long and thin, tapering slightly toward the top, where a small protruding ring is located. When moved, the instrument emits a rattling sound.
