Head Ring Item Number: 2922/2 from the MOA: University of British Columbia
Circular braided cedar bark head ring with an abalone shell crest in the shape of an eagle attached to the front below the bark ties. Eaglet skin, with the fine, soft down still attached, covers the entire top area and hangs down in a tail at the back, below the head ring. The head ring is lined with cotton.
This head ring was made by Bob Harris (Seba̱n) at the birth of Norman Stanley, Mabel's Stanley's first child.
