Description

Wooden figure consisting of a duntsik or power board used in winter dances. The design is cutout with Northwest Coast stylized form and outlined in black and white paint. The image represented is a thunderbird with cutout wings and beak, painted claws and its ears protruding from the top. The board has numerous rectangular pieces silver coloured foil adhered to the surface.

Represents Double Headed Serpent, Sisyiutl, treasure: dlugwe' of Tuxwit dancer. It is a pair with A3797, to show that this was the second time this treasure appeared for this dancer. (A. Cranmer, 1966).
