Description

Small globular pot with rounded base. The mouth is small with a thick rim holding two small lugs, each with a tiny hole bored through. Close together on the shoulder of the pot, two concentric diamond patterns are faintly imprinted into the paint. The bottom portion of the pot is unpainted.

Narrative

This pottery is said to be from the Huaca Juliana, or Huaca Pucllana, a great adobe and clay pyramid built from seven staggered platforms, located in the Miraflores district of central Lima, Peru.
