Description

Fore-section of "leister-type" fish spear. Two diverging wooden fore-shafts, the end of each fitted with a sharp wooden barb projecting inward and backward. Hafted with leather thong and cedar root. Two fore-shafts bound together with twine.

History Of Use

Plunged into deep pools to impale a fish at the sides.
