Model Canoe Item Number: A8869 from the MOA: University of British Columbia
A narrow model wood canoe that has four seated rowers dressed in red capes with paddles that are red-tipped. The rowers have light brown-cream-coloured paper feathers in their black fibre hair. On one side of the canoe, there is a raven design in black and red.
Made by Henry Speck in 1966 in Alert Bay. (Xwak̓wana is the name for a full-sized canoe.)
