Cantonese Opera Gong Item Number: 2967/55 from the MOA: University of British Columbia
Description
Small brass gong is roughly rounded, flat on front with edges curved around to back to form a bowl shape. Edges are rough. Surface undulates slightly with a swirling pattern in the metal at centre. Colour is mottled gold and brown. Red and black Chinese characters are visible on the back.
