Description

Wooden canoe paddle. Paddle has a long, flat, tapered blade painted with a form-line bird’s head including eye, and surrounding colour blocks in black on both sides. Blade has a long penetrating crack that has been repaired with adhesive. Shaft is long, rounded, and narrow, flaring and flattening toward the grip, which is a thick, carved cylinder of wood.
