Description
Unpainted wooden mask of a policeman wearing a hat with a star with the letters “P.S.P” on the front. Incised lines represent hair and a mustache. There are two holes on each side and one inside at the top.
History Of Use
Carnival mask representing a policeman. Many of Adão de Castro Almeida’s carved masks focus on popular Carnavelesque characters including devils, Christ and authority figures.
