Description

Square lantern slide made of two pieces of glass, one with the image printed on it, the other clear, held together by a ‘frame’ of black paper tape. The printed and coloured circular image shows a comical scene of a man fishing on the grassy bank of a curving river, tall fishing pole in hand and woven basket at his hip. A donkey is emerging from the water, caught on his line. Label: "W.C. Hughes / Optician / 151 Hoxton St. N. London"
