Description

Square lantern slide made of two pieces of glass, one with the image painted on it, the other clear, held together by a ‘frame’ of black paper tape. The colour, circular image shows a man in a black coat and top hat with a large white sack over his shoulder walking down a dirt path toward a small thatched cabin surrounded by trees and shrubs. The seventh slide in a series of nine. Label: "W.C. Hughes / Optician 151, Hoxton St. London" and a paper label in one corner with a large green number "7".
