Description

Square lantern slide made of two pieces of glass, one with the image painted on it, the other clear, held together by a ‘frame’ of black paper tape. The colour, circular image shows an interior scene in which a man in a suit empties a sack of potatoes in front of two happy children and an elderly woman in a shawl and bonnet sitting in a chair. A lighted candle sits on a round clothed table and books sit in a hanging shelf on the wall. The eighth slide in a series of nine. On the edge is: "W.C. Hughes" and there is a paper label in one corner with a large green number "8".
