Description

Jade carving of goddess Bodhisattva standing on a dragon. The figure is swathed in flowing robes and headdress, right hand open at heart, left extended to the front. The fingers are very delicately carved. The dragon rests in a crouch, facing forward. The tail is curled upwards. Its surface is covered in small, delicately carved scales. The goddess stands on a shell covering the dragon’s back. The jade is buffed to a high shine. The carving is attached to a low wooden stand.
