Description

Ceramic multi-story tower in 4 pieces, raw terracotta inside with faded green glaze on the exterior. Each part of the tower balances on top of the one below. The roof and top level of the tower are part 'a.' A small structure sits inside a square balcony, with three figures attached to the ledge in front. The roof is slanted and ridged, flower motifs at each corner, and a bird with wings spread at the peak. Part ‘b’ is larger and contains levels 2 and 3 of the tower, as well as a similar roof, flower motifs and figures on the ledge as part a. Part ‘c’ holds the ground floor level, which has a single partially open doorway. Grilled windows sit high on the structure on three sides. Atop this is a large square balcony with 5 figures attached to the ledge, facing forward. Part ‘d’ is the courtyard of the building, the base surrounded by high walls decorated on top with two rows of regularly spaced indents. The door stands open, with two roofed towers above it to each side.
