Description

Woven textile. Two long rectangular textiles are sewn together to make a square. The designs are woven in strips of repeating motifs, which include animals, diamonds, and curled designs. These are interspersed with lines of colour in various thicknesses that run the length of the textile.

Purchased in a village plaza, outside a small church, where sellers had their wares laid out. Possibly from Accha Alta?
