Description
Felt hat, light tan in colour. Brim is wide, curved slightly upward on one side, and down on the other. A band of dark tan edges the brim, embellished with white stitching in a double wave pattern. The crown is low, rounded at top, and banded by strips of wool in bright pink and red. The wool is wound several times around and secured by stitching at both sides, where the ends hang freely.

The hat is the type that porters wear on the "Inca Trail". Purchased from a local market in Cuzco.
