Whale Mask Item Number: A7484 from the MOA: University of British Columbia
Parial mask, or headdress, with small carved human face on top with the mouth opened as the blow hole. The mask has large circular black eyes, a mouth with downturned corners, and a hooked nose. The mask is painted grey with black and red designs on the forehead and cheeks, green scallop designs on the cheeks, green around the eyes with a scalloped bottom edge, red nostrils and lips, and a black chin. The face on the top of the head is painted black.
The inner face of a large composite whale mask, the rest of which was said to be too rotted to salvage.
