Description

Clay pot or jar with rounded belly and short, straight neck with two very small handles at the shoulder. There is a band of simple black, white and reddish linear decoration on the shoulder. Reddish clay; flat bottom.

Narrative

According to the donor, he excavated the 7 pieces of pottery in this donation (H1.144-150) in Oct. 1959, from two graves on the south coast of Peru - near Ilo.
