Iconographic Meaning

Represents Raven at the north end of the world: Gwaxgwaxwalanuxsiwe', one of the servants of Baxbakwalanuxsiwe: cannibal at the north end of the world.

Narrative

May have been made by Mungo Martin, similar to one he made for T. Hunt circa 1916. Two were made at that time. (T. Hunt, 1966). Bill Holm noted that a Mungo Martin attribution was possible, but that Dick Price was more likely. Now on long term loan to the U'mista Cultural Centre.
