Description

Grey-brown bottle with strap handle connecting a conical spout with a falcon head. Most of top surface incised; swept back wings, reed stamp circles, "S” repeat bands and profile fox on breast below potted field. Falcon head deity has reed stamp circles as eyes, in relief beak and triangular ears. Traces of red-brown paint. Mold-made ceramic; burnished surface. Broken; partially repaired. Part b) Undecorated fragment, part of bowl side. c) Fragment, part of bowl side. Geometrical and incised decoration. Traces of red-brown paint. d) Undecorated fragment, part of of bowl side. e) Fragment, part of bowl side. Geometrical incisions in one corner and curved body. f) Fragment, part of bowl side.
