Byzantine coin of Justinian I, 527-565. Obverse: bust of Justinian I, facing forward, with a cross to the right; to left, inscription is illegible; to right, it says ‘PPA’. Reverse: large ‘K’; to left, ‘ANNO’ in a vertical position; to right, ‘XXϤ; above, a cross; beneath, 'Π’ with a diagonal line through it and a pellet above.
