Byzantine coin of Justin II, 565-578. Obverse: bust of Justin II, facing front, with diadem; to left, he holds a globe with Victory standing on top; to right, cross; inscriptions are illegible. Reverse: large ‘M’; to left, ‘ANNO’ in a vertical position; to right, ‘II’ with a star above and beneath; above, cross; beneath, 'Γ'; in exergue, ‘THEϤP’.
