Byzantine coin of Maurice Tiberius, 582-602. Obverse: bust of Maurice Tiberius, facing front, wearing helmet; to left, he holds a globus cruciger; to right, a shield; to left, inscription is illegible; to right, it says ‘TIbERPPAV’. Reverse: large ‘M’; to left, ‘AN[NO]’ in a vertical position; to right, ‘XIII’ in a vertical position; above, cross; beneath, ‘Δ’; in exergue, ‘CON’.
