Byzantine coin of Phocas, 602-610. Obverse: Two rulers standing and facing front, both with crowns; Phocas is on the left, holding a globus cruciger; Empress Leontia is on the right, holding a long cruciform sceptre; between their heads, there is a cross; to left, inscription says ‘ONFOCA’; to right, ‘EP’. Reverse: large ‘XX’; to left, ‘ANNO’ in a vertical position; to right, ‘ϤI’; above, cross; beneath, ‘R’.
