Byzantine coin of Heraclius, 610-641. Obverse: bust of Heraclius, facing front; he wears a plumed helmet; to right, he holds a shield; to left, it says ‘ACLI’; to right, ‘PERPAVC’. Reverse: large ‘M’; to left, ‘ANNO’ in a vertical position; to right, ‘III’ in a vertical position; above, cross; beneath, most likely ‘A’; in exergue, ‘KYZ’.
