Description

Byzantine coin of Heraclius, 610-641. Obverse: two rulers standing and facing front; Heraclius is on the left; Heraclius Constantine, his son, is on the right; each wears a crown with a cross and holds a globus cruciger in their right hand; between their heads, there is another cross; to left, inscription says ‘IИTE’; to right, it is illegible. Reverse: large ‘M’; to right, ‘III’; above, cross. Coin has been overstruck.
