Byzantine coin of Heraclius, 610-641. Obverse: two figures standing and facing front; to left, Heraclius; to right, Heraclius Constantine, his son; Heraclius wears military dress and holds a long cross; Heraclius Constantine wears a chlamys and holds a globus cruciger; both wear a crown with cross; there is another cross in between their heads. Reverse: large ‘M’; to left, ‘[A]NN[O]’; to right, it is difficult to decipher, but possibly ‘ϚI’; above, monogram; beneath, ‘Δ’; in exergue, ‘CON’. This coin has been overstruck. Monogram corresponds to number 21 or 25 in Sear catalogue.
