Obverse: bust of Leo III, facing front; he wears a chlamys and a crown with cross; to left, he holds a globus cruciger; to left, inscription is illegible; to right, it says ‘ΛMϤL’. Reverse: large ‘M’; to left, ‘ANN’ in a vertical position; to right, ‘XX’ in a vertical position; above, [bust of Constantine V]; beneath, ‘A’.
