Description

Woman's white under skirt (slip). Garment is long and full, made of a translucent synthetic fabric with a heavy pattern embedded in the material. The cotton chest peice holds two wide shoulder straps and closes at the back with velcro. At the garment’s midpoint two layers of stiff tulle have been added to the interior, reaching to just above the hem, creating a full and rounded look to the garment’s silhouette.

Narrative

Donated by the Korean consul, to represent a woman's complete traditional costume: under garments, skirt, jacket, socks, shoes and norigae ornament (3171/4-10). A man's traditional outerwear costume was also part of the donation: pants, shirt and vest (3171/1-3).
