Description

Woman's white undergarment. Pants are made of synthetic fibre with a high shine, the fabric containing embedded flower motifs. Waist and ankles are elasticized. Pants are wide through the hip and thigh, narrowing toward the knee.

Worn under a slip and skirt.

Narrative

Donated by the Korean consul, to represent a woman's complete traditional costume: under garments, skirt, jacket, socks, shoes and norigae ornament (3171/4-10). A man's traditional outerwear costume was also part of the donation: pants, shirt and vest (3171/1-3).
