Description

Woman’s white socks, pair. Socks are made of a thick white synthetic material, fully lined, in the same material, with a seam running from front top, around the toe and heel, to rear top. The socks take the slightly stylized shape of a foot, with a high, sharply pointed toe, rounded ball, and protruding rounded heel. Ankle is wide. The socks are nearly identical. Part b has a red, blue and white sticker at the top.

Narrative

Donated by the Korean consul, to represent a woman's complete traditional costume: under garments, skirt, jacket, socks, shoes and norigae ornament (3171/4-10). A man's traditional outerwear costume was also part of the donation: pants, shirt and vest (3171/1-3).
