Byzantine coin of Constantine IV, 668-685. Obverse: bust of Constantine IV, facing front; he wears a helmet with plume and a cuirass, which is a type of armour; he holds a spear behind his back; to right, he holds a shield; to left, inscription says ‘DNCONƧT’; to right, ‘TINVSPP’. Reverse: large ‘M’; to left, Heraclius, Constantine IV’s brother, standing and facing front; to right, Tiberius, Constantine IV’s other brother, standing and facing front; each wears a crown with cross and a chlamys; each holds a globus cruciger; above, cross; beneath, ‘E’; in exergue, ‘CON’.
