Byzantine coin from joint rule of Justin I and Justinian I, 527. Obverse: bust of Justin I, facing right; he wears a diadem; to left, inscription says ‘STIN’; to right, ‘INIANPPAVC’. Reverse: large ‘M’; to left and right, stars; above, cross; beneath, difficult to decipher, possibly ‘A’; in exergue, also difficult to decipher, possibly ‘B’.
