Byzantine coin from joint rule of Justin I and Justinian I, 527. Obverse: bust of Justin I, facing right; he wears a diadem; to left, inscription says ‘IVƧ’; to right, ‘INV…PA’. Reverse: large ‘M’; to left and right, stars; beneath, difficult to decipher, possibly ‘A’; in exergue, also difficult to decipher, possibly ‘CON’.
