Byzantine coin of Anastasius I, 491-518. Obverse: bust of Anastasius I, facing right; he wears a diadem; to left, inscription is ‘DNANASTA’; to right, illegible. Reverse: large ‘I’ with pellets on either side; to left, ‘CON’ in a vertical position; to right, ‘CORDI’ in a vertical position.
